The Plan of Salvation

According to the word of God the plan of salvation is a simple one, but it requires first that one admit they are a sinner according to Romans 3:10 and that they are lost without God. Repentance and faith on behalf of the poor lost soul, exhibited in Jesus Christ is the only requirement according to Acts 2:37 and Acts 10:43.

Ephesians 2:8-9 Declares to us that it is thru faith alone in Jesus Christ and not thru any merit or good work of our own that we are saved.

1) How and Where Can I Get Saved?
The plan of salvation is the same for all men and women and all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. It makes no difference whether you’re in a bar, at home, on the job, or sitting somewhere all alone. God is all knowing and can meet you right where you are.

2) What do I do?
Simply pray right where you are the prayer of salvation, which is referred to as “The Sinner’s Prayer.”

Dear God in Heaven,

I come to you in the Name of Jesus. I’m sorry for my sins, the things I have done, and the way I have lived. Please forgive me, wash me, and cleanse me in the blood of Jesus Christ. Right now I believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross and three days later was raised from the dead. I believe that He is seated by the right hand of the Father. Right now, according to Romans 10:9-10, if I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I shall be saved. Right now, at this very moment, I accept Jesus Christ into my heart by faith. I surrender my past, my present, and my future to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Right now according to God’s Word, which cannot lie, I can say I am saved! I am a new creation in Jesus Christ. Amen
